OpenWebReview has no accounts, no logins and no advertising trackers. You can search a company without identifying yourself.
We process the company name you type in order to run a search, and we handle information that is already published on the open web.
Search queries. The company name or website you enter is sent to our server so the search can run. Queries are used to produce your report and to monitor service reliability.
Technical request data. Standard server logs may record IP address, user agent, timestamp and the page requested. These are used for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
Local preferences. Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
We do not ask for a name, email address or payment details. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking pixels, and we do not sell or rent any data.
Reports and articles quote and link to material published by others: review platforms, news outlets, company newsrooms, regulators and courts. We do not control those sources and their own privacy terms apply when you visit them.
Where a source contains personal information about an individual, we quote only what is necessary to explain the point, and we link to the original so it can be checked in context.
To generate a report we use third-party infrastructure for hosting, web search and retrieval, and AI text analysis. These providers process the query and the retrieved page content on our behalf under their own terms, and are not permitted to use it to build a profile of you.
Reports are generated on demand and shown to you; we do not build a user profile. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and reliability, then discarded on a rolling basis.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, or to complain to a supervisory authority. Because we hold almost no identifying data, most requests can be answered quickly.
If an article or report contains information about you or your company that is inaccurate, out of date, or should not be published, contact us and describe the specific passage and the correct position. We review every request and correct or remove content where the objection is well founded.
The service is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
If this policy changes materially, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
